As we ahve been preparing for our music video and deciding on the the layouts and whos doing what we have decided the role of a director was a mutual joint decison as we both came up with the roles of what we wanted to do and how we were going to act out our story board for the offical music video do to both be director was easy as we both gained new ideas. The camera operator was more Jack then i as he wanted to make sure the shots were exclusive and looked right for when we began editing although when Jack wanted to take part in the actual fimling process i would be in control of the camera then. The production manager was also a joint role for us both because we would rather work it all out together then doing the roles seperate although when it came to editing we both edited our own version just so the conclusion of the results would be different and we could specify what we would need to change.
Our ideas and pitch!
Me and Jack are working together on doing a video to the song sung by Black Eyed Peas " Ive gotta a feeling". We are focusing how the video attracts the audience and how they have so many quality shots and how its been proffesionaly edited.
Our video will be a similar setting to the orginal so they could be compared on how different it could end up.
Evidence of clips.
we have got quite a few shots that we are using to edit with although we will be needing to do more when we plan the time an date and what we exactly need.
So far i have edited the first mintute of the song with fottage i have filmed. I have based my music video on the young people going out and enjoying the weekend and going out to clubs an partys.
As you can see there is not much work that has been done but this was the beginning of the editing for the music video, I believe at this moment that once we have looked through footage we will know what we need to start producing a good edit for the video.
This is another clip during my time editing for the music video. As you can see since the last clip I have progressed on my editing and used clips that will be able to bring a good emphasis to the video I am creating. I havent done the whole video yet as more footage needs to be filmed but so far I am happy with what I have and I know what I need to do.

I have also been working on my blog and putting shots of my editing on there to show what I have exactly been working on for my music video and describing some faults and what happened. Uploading this onto my blogger will give more evidence of the work I have been producing this week.
here is the final edit on which we have completed well i as it is my own edit. I added more shots on to power director to make it look like so many things were happening to make it look more succesful. As it is our final piece i gave the class and questionnaire to fill in as i needed feedback on my work.

After handing these out to my class and recieving the feedback back i would say that i was overall happy with what i got because it was very positive. The majority of the class rated my video 8/10 which i personally think is good although with the viewers comment they did say that the greenscreen shots needed to be changed as it went fuzzy whilst editing but apart from that everything seemed okay. After coming to a conclusion with my final peice i would say i did really good i know that i will be needing to change things when it gets to the end on which i will be filming more shots to create the ultimate final to my peice.
As me an Jack have looked at each others feedback we got practically the same results as one another so we know exactly what we need to change and also re edit so we know how to make the video look more up to a professional standard and to get a higher grade.
